Decade of Progress

Decade of Progress is an assessment and analytical report by the Tropical Forest Alliance and Daemeter Consulting on Indonesia and Malaysia’s progress in reducing deforestation throughout the last decade. It showcases the effectiveness of collaborative efforts in progressing sustainable development.

Study highlight 12 areas of progress in two parts:

Impact Measures of Progress toward eliminating deforestation and achieving wider sustainability.

Critical Enablers of Progress that contributed to impact and will support continued progress in the coming decade.

Business Cases

An archive of business cases of jurisdictional approaches, including its plans, schemes, challenges, results, and analyses.

Investment Cases

An archive of investment cases of jurisdictional approaches, including its plans, schemes, challenges, results, and analyses.

Policy Briefs

Policy briefs are reviews of current state of policies and regulations, governance and enabling ecosystem for green growth with recommendations distilled from experts and practitioners that would empower businesses, governments, and civil societies to understand the challenges and opportunities that particular policies impact on the specific course of actions. It spurs recommendations and innovations based on insights and evidence to advance the green growth agenda.

The goal is to make it easier for companies and investors to understand how to link their supply chain efforts with broader conservation and production strategies to contribute to their success and achieve their own supply chain goals.
